During the event, Alex’s Osaka performance returned a personal best for the season; an impressive 46.17s result that now ranks him 57th in the world.
Since graduating from Bond University with a Doctor of Physiotherapy in 2014, Alex has continued to expand his expertise of recreational and elite distance running biomechanics through his own personal application and research in the field. Ongoing, his keen interest has helped him not only prevent and manage his own running related injuries, but also with the range of athletes he treats on a regular basis; from developing juniors through to Olympic-level athletes.
As a physiotherapist by day, and elite-athlete by morning and night - we can’t wait to see what’s next for Alex and his team as they take on Qatar! Congratulations, and good luck Alex!
